How to compress images without losing quality

We can reduce the size of images without making changes to the resolution of the picture. So that we can attach images to the mail faster and transfer images in a short time. Big images will take much time to attach. For this we use ‘Microsoft Office Picture Manager’ which will automatically installed with all Microsoft office packages.

The following folder contains 3 images with 32.6 MB size.

To compress the image follow the below steps:

Step 1: Right click on an Image > Open with > Microsoft Office Picture Manager

Step 2: Click the Thumbnail button to see all images in a Thumbnail view

Step 3: Press ‘Ctrl + A’ to select all the images or use the ‘Ctrl’ key to select the images which you want to compress.

Step 4: Click File > Export

Step 5: From the Export bar, select the ‘Document – Large (1024 x 768 px )’

Step 6: Click Ok

Step 7: Select the option which you need

Step 8: After exporting view the image size. Here the 32.6 MB compressed to 1.24 MB.
